Ava Milisits

​As a Junior at Poolesville High School, Ava knows that outreach is the most important thing when it comes to connecting with students from across this diverse county. With her experience as the MCJC President from 2019-2020, Girl Scout leadership, active member of her school’s community, including being the founder of Poolesville NEST, a mentorship program for Black and Latino students in test-in magnet programs at her school, President of her school’s Minority Scholars Program, and student member of my school’s Restorative Justice Advisory committee, she ensures that Faith Nah is the best person to be the incoming SMOB. Through her connections and networking, she pushes for Faith’s agenda as a candidate who advocates for those who do not have a voice through equity.
