Why am I running for SMOB?

I come from the Montgomery Village/Gaithersburg area, attended a DCC middle school in the Aspen Hill Region, and now attend school in rural Poolesville. My experience attending schools from different clusters across Montgomery County has given me a wide array of experiences and allowed me to hear many students' stories. I feel that my educational career has prepared me to represent diverse student voices.

The SMOB platform would amplify my voice on the issues on my platform and others faced by MCPS students. However, I care a lot about the issues on my platform and they are issues I will pursue, SMOB or not.

I enjoy hearing different voices while discussing with students about their experiences. I love the process of coming to a consensus or compromise and hope that you'll join me as I advocate for the needs of MCPS students.
